Matthias Höfs is a German trumpeter who performs as a soloist and chamber musician, with a repertoire spanning baroque to contemporary music. He was a long-standing member of the Philharmoniker Hamburg. Alongside his concert career he teaches and makes his own transcriptions - including an arrangement of Bach's Concerto BWV 972 for trumpet.
