Mork is a Norwegian black metal project founded in Halden in 2004 by Thomas Eriksen, who writes, records and performs virtually all of the music himself. The debut album 'Isebakke' appeared in 2013 after a visit to Darkthrone's old rehearsal space sparked a creative breakthrough; since then Eriksen has released eight full-length records on Peaceville Records at a pace that is rare in the genre. Rooted in the cold, melancholic atmosphere of second-wave Norwegian black metal, Mork has steadily expanded its reach - touring Asia, Australia and the Americas alongside the European festival circuit.
Mork released their eighth full-length album 'Monolitt' on June 19, 2026 via Peaceville Records, receiving a 90/100 score from Blabbermouth.
