Steven Patrick Morrissey (born 22 May 1959, Manchester) first came to prominence as the lyricist and frontman of The Smiths (1982-1987), one of the most critically acclaimed British bands of the 1980s. After the group split, he launched a solo career that has produced 14 studio albums - from the debut Viva Hate (1988) to I Am Not a Dog on a Chain (2020) - marked by his distinctive baritone, literary wit, and unflinching melancholy. He remains one of alternative rock's most polarising and enduring figures, with a devoted international following that spans generations.
Morrissey's official site lists confirmed 2026 tour dates including Warsaw (July 9), Barcelona (July 25), Madrid (July 29), Porto (August 1), and a New Year's Eve show in Brussels (December 31).
Morrissey announced an 11-date European tour for February-March 2026, covering Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain.
