Motorpsycho is a Norwegian rock band founded in Trondheim in 1989 by Bent Sæther and Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan. Their music weaves together psychedelic rock, progressive rock, hard rock and alternative influences - sometimes within a single album. Over more than three decades they have released over 25 studio albums and are widely regarded as one of the most consistently inventive rock acts in Scandinavia.
Motorpsycho released their new album 'The Gaia II Space Corps' on 27 February 2026 via their own label Det Nordenfjeldske Grammofonselskab, described as a concise hard rock record rooted in a pre-metal 1970s sound.
