About

Municipal Waste is an American crossover thrash band from Richmond, Virginia, active since 2000. Drawing heavily on 1980s thrash and hardcore punk, they helped spark a crossover revival in the early 2000s with their debut album Waste 'Em All (2003) and broke through internationally with Hazardous Mutation (2005) and The Art of Partying (2007). Vocalist Tony Foresta and guitarist Ryan Waste are the band's only constant members across seven studio albums released on Earache and Nuclear Blast.
