About

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1983 by singer-songwriter Nick Cave, alongside Mick Harvey and Blixa Bargeld. Over 18 studio albums they have carved out a singular space where post-punk, gothic rock, blues and literary balladry collide - earning a reputation as one of the most original acts of the post-punk era. Their 2024 album Wild God, the first full Bad Seeds record since Skeleton Tree (2016), debuted at No. 5 in the UK and No. 2 in Australia, reaching No. 1 in Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
