Nightmares on Wax is the project of Leeds-based DJ and producer George Evelyn, active since the late 1980s. His sound blends hip-hop, soul, and downtempo electronica, with a warm, hazy feel that became a signature of the Warp Records catalogue. Albums like Smokers Delight and Carboot Soul are among his most celebrated works.
