Thievery Corporation is a Washington D.C. electronic duo formed in 1995 by Rob Garza and Eric Hilton, who met at Hilton's Eighteenth Street Lounge club. Over three decades they have built a sound that moves freely between downtempo, dub, bossa nova, jazz and world music - always on their own independent ESL Music label. Albums like The Mirror Conspiracy (2000) and Radio Retaliation (2008, Grammy-nominated) brought them a global audience, while collaborations with David Byrne, Perry Farrell and Bebel Gilberto underlined their reach across genres.
Thievery Corporation launched the second leg of their 30th Anniversary Tour in May 2026, covering over 30 North American cities.
The 30th Anniversary Tour is set to extend to Europe later in 2026.
