90er Festival Oktoberfest Kemnitz
Original 90s acts including REDNEX and NYCC take the stage at the festival tent in Bernstadt Kemnitz for a night of nineties nostalgia.
Rednex is a Swedish eurodance group formed in 1994 by producers Patrick Edenberg, Janne Ericsson, and Örjan Öberg, best known for blending country fiddles and banjos with electronic dance beats - a style they called "Countrytechno". Their debut single "Cotton Eye Joe" topped the charts in at least 11 countries and remains one of the most recognisable dance tracks of the 1990s. The band has operated with a rotating performer pool since 2012 and continues to tour Europe, while "Cotton Eye Joe" keeps finding new audiences through viral internet memes.
Rednex released new singles "Nothing Ever Happens in Brunkeflo" and "Nah Neh Nah", and announced upcoming tour dates in Ireland and Germany.
Rednex released the ballad album "From Wish to Hold - Rednex Heartfelt Ballads Vol. 1" on Spotify.
Rednex performed 15 concerts across 6 countries in 2025, including shows in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Italy.
"Cotton Eye Joe" set a YouTube world record when the "Gedagedigedagedago" viral meme based on the song accumulated 3 billion views in just 26 days.
Rednex released the single and remix EP "Gegagedigedagedago - Remixes" capitalising on the viral meme trend.

Open-air concert with 90s hits. Rednex, Loona, and Oli P. perform their biggest songs at Gärten der Welt in Berlin.

ABBA tribute show and Rednex performing live on the same night at Repp Nudelfabrik in Großheubach/Main.
