O-Zone is a Moldovan eurodance group founded in Chișinău in 1998 by Dan Bălan, who later settled the classic trio lineup with Radu Sîrbu and Arsenie Todiraș. Their 2003 single "Dragostea Din Tei" reached number one in 32 countries and sold over 12 million copies worldwide, making them the first Moldovan act to achieve global chart success. The song gained a second life online through the viral "Numa Numa" video, cementing its status as one of the defining pop moments of the 2000s. After disbanding in 2005, the group reunited for concerts in 2017 and 2019; since 2024 they have been active again, with Arsenie Todiraș performing the classic material on tour.
