Ron Sexsmith (born January 8, 1964, in St. Catharines, Ontario) is a Canadian singer-songwriter widely regarded as a craftsman's craftsman - a three-time Juno Award winner whose melodic folk-pop has earned the admiration of Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Elton John and Leonard Cohen. Since his self-titled debut in 1995, he has released eighteen studio albums, performed at Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and had his songs covered by artists ranging from Emmylou Harris to Rod Stewart.
