About

Skunk Anansie are a British rock band formed in London in 1994, built around the commanding voice and stage presence of vocalist Skin (Deborah Dyer). Their platinum-selling 1990s albums - Paranoid & Sunburnt, Stoosh and Post Orgasmic Chill - made them one of the defining acts of the Britrock era, and they headlined Glastonbury in 1999. After disbanding in 2001 they reformed in 2009 and have continued recording; their seventh studio album, The Painful Truth, arrived in May 2025.
