Slaughter To Prevail

About

Slaughter to Prevail is a Russian deathcore band formed in 2014 in Yekaterinburg, now based in Orlando, Florida. The group is built around vocalist Alex Terrible (Aleksandr Shikolay) and British guitarist Jack Simmons, with the current lineup rounded out by Dmitry Mamedov, Mike Petrov, and Evgeny Novikov. Signed to Sumerian Records, they broke through internationally with the debut album Misery Sermon (2017) and cemented their status with Kostolom (2021); their third album, Grizzly, followed in July 2025. Alex Terrible's extreme guttural vocals - among the deepest in the genre - and the band's relentless live show have made them one of the most talked-about acts in modern heavy music.
