Description was written before the event

The Family Concert takes place on the Sunday of the International Choral Festival and is designed for families in an interactive format: together with the festival choirs, visitors can make music, play and experiment.

From 13:30, various activity stations invite participation - with rhythm games, instrument-making, musical experiments and a wheel of fortune.

From 15:00, the main concert begins, featuring cross-generational choirs as well as children's and youth choirs. The participating choirs also sing together with the audience at various points.

About the venue: Gesellschaftshaus Magdeburg

The Gesellschaftshaus Magdeburg is a grand historicist building from the late 19th century, originally built as a social and banquet hall for the city's bourgeoisie. Today it serves as one of Magdeburg's main event venues, hosting concerts, balls, conferences and cultural gatherings. Its ornate interior, with a large main hall and period details, makes it a distinctive setting for both public and private events.
