Die Ähn un das Anner - Alice Hoffmann & Bettina Koch - "In Würde alb(t)ern"

Alice Hoffmann and Bettina Koch in "In Würde al(t)bern…"

"O Lord, you know better than I do that I grow older with each passing day and will one day be old. With my enormous treasure of experience and wisdom, it seems a shame not to pass it on, but you understand, O Lord, that I must keep a few friends for myself." (Teresa of Ávila, 1566!)

This is precisely the treasure these two friends want to share - and on the biggest topics: love, vices, and cake. Champagne in the evening or semolina porridge with cinnamon? Crochet club or ChatGPT? Can you fall in love at seventy, and what improves your pension - cooking courses, dumpster diving, or posing as a "mature woman" on adult websites? Will both silver surfers end up like the Golden Girls in an unusual old shared apartment in Miami Beach, or does a future in innovative retirement homes await them?

Artificial intelligence and natural stupidity fuel everyday quarrels - with biting humour. And as always when Alice Hoffmann and Bettina Koch take the stage, the rule applies: "The timing is spot-on, the punchlines fly, the jabs land." (SZ)
