Grand Classic Ballet brings "Swan Lake - Behind the Scenes" to Congress Center Ramstein on Sunday, 11 October 2026 at 15:00. This author's interpretation of Tchaikovsky's classic focuses on the story of Odette and Odile, with a live string quartet accompanying the dancers directly on stage. The intimate reading of the music creates a chamber density that intensifies each moment of the choreography. The performance is one of nine German dates on the tour, combining narrative reduction with deep emotional engagement. Tickets cost 39.95 €.

About: Swan Lake

Tchaikovsky composed Swan Lake as his very first ballet score - and despite a disastrous premiere in 1877, the Petipa-Ivanov revival of 1895 turned it into the cornerstone of the classical repertoire. The double role of Odette and Odile, the iconic Dance of the Cygnets, and Odile's 32 fouettés remain the ultimate test of a ballerina's art.
