Die Grabowskis - Die unteren 10.000
The Grabowskis have buried everything worldwide that was obviously no longer alive. But they are not only passionate gravediggers - they are also talented singers and storytellers. And there is always a certain respect for the dead woven through their work.
Despite their cynical approach and absurd humour, the Grabowskis are likeable characters who entertain audiences with their witty and macabre stories. At their evening concerts, held in the very places where they bury their clients in the afternoon - at the stroke of the bell - they demonstrate an unusual combination of vocal power, situational comedy, wordplay, and profound moments.
Jens Heckermann (known as "Pelvis" from the a cappella group Füenf), James Geier (member of the comedy trio Backblech), and Thomas Weber (founder of the KABIriNETT theatre) together form a unique ensemble. They bring their years of stage experience and diverse musical and comedic talents to the stage. Jens Heckermann impresses with his powerful vocal presence, James Geier with his musical skills and clear intonation, and Thomas Weber with his sharp wit and falsetto voice. Together, they radiate warmth on stage and know how to captivate and make the audience laugh.
An evening full of wordplay, dynamism, and depth with the Grabowskis. Dark as a raven's wing, yet brimming with double meanings and moral ambiguity. Three of the world's funniest gravediggers offer a magnificent comedy experience with songs and stories about cheeky widows and cold bones.
