4. Blüthner Meister-Konzert with the Georg Philipp Telemann Conservatory — Weißes Haus Markkleeberg, Markkleeberg

The Blüthner Meister-Konzerte proudly present young pianists from the Georg Philipp Telemann Conservatory in Magdeburg. Prize-winners from various competitions will perform a varied concert programme, showcasing the breadth and quality of piano training at the conservatory.

The conservatory's students have already brought home numerous awards - from regional, state and national rounds of the "Jugend musiziert" competition to other prestigious contests such as the Köthener Bach-Wettbewerb and the Clara Schumann Wettbewerb in Leipzig.

The conservatory itself has more than seventy years of tradition in comprehensive musical education. Around 100 teachers currently provide highly qualified tuition - sparking enthusiasm, identifying talent, teaching music, and supporting students through their progress and achievements.

With approximately 2,500 students, it is the largest music school in the state of Saxony-Anhalt and enjoys an excellent reputation well beyond its borders. The curriculum covers nearly the full musical spectrum - from early childhood music education to orchestral concerts, from children's choir to big band in the jazz-rock-pop department. Across nine departments, from elementary music pedagogy to the pre-college preparatory division, a total of 43 subjects are taught. The 34 ensembles at the Magdeburg conservatory reflect this same diversity.

For many years, the Blüthner Meister-Konzerte have given young pianists from around the world the chance to perform before a loyal audience. We are delighted that talented, up-and-coming pianists from the Georg Philipp Telemann Conservatory in Magdeburg will have the opportunity to present their artistry.
