Daniel Schmidgunst brings the second installment of his Bruce Springsteen cycle to Magdeburg on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at 20:00. The concert takes place at Grüne Zitadelle Magdeburg, a distinctive pink building designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. This is one of two German dates for Schmidgunst's tour. About the venue: Grüne Zitadelle Magdeburg

The Grüne Zitadelle is a striking pink residential and commercial building designed by the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser - his last major project, completed posthumously in 2005. The curving, organic facade is covered with grass-topped roofs, golden onion domes, and uneven floors inside. The complex hosts a small hotel, shops, and a tourist information centre, and regularly serves as a backdrop for cultural events and guided tours.
