Unsere Grube

Who owns a place that children have made entirely for themselves? And why do adults always have to interfere?
pulk fiktion - awarded the Tabori Prize in 2025, the most prestigious honour in Germany's independent theatre scene - brings the picture book "Unsere Grube" by Emma AdBåge to the stage. The book won the German Youth Literature Prize in 2022.
Developed in genuine collaboration with young people, the performers of pulk fiktion use live music and direct audience contact to ask the big questions about living together: What are adults actually afraid of? When do rules make sense - and when do they just get in the way? Who owns public spaces, and who gets to set the rules for them?
A joyful, honest piece about the freedom to play, imagination, and the relationship between children and adults. For the whole family.
