Two friends at the heart of the adventure
At the centre of the story is the friendship between Mowgli and Baloo. The charming bear lives by his own rules - laid-back, always cheerful and endlessly curious about the human world. With Mowgli by his side, the two friends plunge into an adventure that broadens their horizons and shows how exciting differences can be. The calm and steady panther Bagheera is never far away, always turning up at just the right moment. But the peace doesn't last: Shere Khan - proud and bitter - is biding his time. Driven by his fear of fire and his hatred of humans, he waits for his chance at revenge. Meanwhile Kaa slithers through the action - mysterious, hypnotic and always knowing more than anyone else.
