Felix and Fanny are the best of friends - even though they're siblings! No quarrels, no teasing, no jealousy. They simply get along. And they have a lot in common: both love tumbling around the garden, both play piano, both are passionate about making up music. They're even genuine child prodigies! Luckily, their parents have an enormous house with its own concert hall in the living room. That's where Fanny and Felix perform their latest piano pieces, and sometimes a whole orchestra is invited - which little Felix gets to conduct. Since he's still so small, he has to clamber up onto a chair to reach the podium! And Fanny? She's not allowed to conduct, because she's a girl. Outrageous, thinks Fanny - and starts hatching a plan. That's where Fenchel comes in...
