AN ERMINIG: TRUG - 50th Anniversary Programme - Musique celtique de Bretagne

An Erminig - the "Ermine", symbol of Brittany - celebrate their 50th anniversary. For half a century, they have been musical ambassadors of Brittany, performing from the Skagerrak to Emilia-Romagna.

The anniversary programme Trug' - short for Trugarez (Breton for "Thank you") - is both a retrospective and a tribute: it thanks friends and teachers in Brittany as well as the organisers of AN ERMINIG concerts over the past decades. You will hear distinctive pieces from 50 years, along with songs and dances that connect the Saar-Lorraine world music ensemble with their role models and companions. Anecdotes and stories round out the programme.
