With "The Great Commandment", "Love Is a Shield" and "That Smiling Face" they made music history - and now they're coming live to SHELTER Festival 2026: CAMOUFLAGE, the German synth-pop legends, will headline the big festival Friday on 17 July 2026 in Eggebek!

Few German bands embody the electronic sound of the 80s and 90s as completely as CAMOUFLAGE. Their blend of melodic wave, driving beats and melancholic vocals brought them international success, and their songs have lost none of their power. When CAMOUFLAGE takes the stage, nostalgia collides with energy and electronics with emotion - a spine-tingling moment for everyone who lived through and loved that era.

From 16 to 18 July 2026, SHELTER Festival returns to the former military airfield in Eggebek - a site that connects past and present like nowhere else in northern Germany. Where Naval Air Wing 2 (MFG 2) was stationed for decades and shaped the entire region, music fans, friends and old acquaintances now gather for a one-of-a-kind reunion. Among the imposing jet hangars, once reserved strictly for military use, a festival atmosphere takes shape that you won't find anywhere else in Germany. The grounds alone are breathtaking - the perfect backdrop for a festival that brings together music, memory and community.

SHELTER Festival is the north's most rock-spirited class reunion. It's aimed at everyone who consciously lived through the 80s and 90s and wants to feel that spirit again. Not a pure nostalgia show, but a journey through time that proves just how alive that music still is. Wave and synth, rock and pop, NDW, Eurodance and punk - the full variety of that era is reflected in the lineup.
