"Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultaschen Soup"
Yes, you read that correctly - the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and my humble self, Dr. Watson, have found ourselves in the Swabian region. I must admit, not entirely by choice. Yet our genius could not refuse an invitation from an old acquaintance, the Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a grand dinner. So there we are, in the adjoining room of the restaurant, while you enjoy your delicious three-course menu this evening.
Fleeing from his table neighbour, the endlessly chattering Swabian Baroness, the detective barely misses the alleged murder of the host's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.
Admittedly, his health was not at its best. But to suddenly topple into maultaschen soup is hardly the refined English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the otherwise tediously boring evening is saved.
A dialect mystery awaits - an exceedingly tricky case at that, for the investigation results seemingly rule out any poisoning. Interrogating the witnesses, the coroner, and some of the dinner guests makes many an innocent-looking person in the room appear suspicious.
With vigour and good cheer, the famous detective sets his little grey cells to work. Swabian cunning spreads through the room, yet no deceiver can so easily fool the master. For him, the solution soon becomes crystal clear. As always, however, he lets us grope in the dark a while longer before he brilliantly exposes the murderer.
