Autumn String Tour 2026

Icelandic singer-songwriter Svavar Knutur performs in Salzgitter on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Kniestedter Kirche. He will be accompanied by three Icelandic string musicians: cellist Kristín Lárusdóttir, violist Jóhanna Ósk Valsdóttir, and violinist Íris Dögg Gísladóttir. This is one of five German dates on his autumn tour. Kniestedter Kirche is a late Romanesque rural church dating to the 12th century; its modest stone nave and historic interior rank among the region's oldest surviving sacred structures. The concert unfolds as an emotional journey woven through with humour and poignant moments, drawing audiences into its narrative. Admission: 21 €.
