Arms and Sleepers is an American ambient/trip-hop project founded in Boston in 2006 by Max Lewis and Mirza Ramic, now based in Berlin and run by Ramic as its sole permanent member. Drawing on trip-hop, downtempo, experimental hip-hop and post-rock, the project has built a catalog of over 30 releases and logged more than 2,000 live performances across North America, Europe and Asia. Their music has been licensed by Apple, HBO, Vice, National Geographic and others, and their 2024 album 'What Tomorrow Brings' - a personal account of fleeing war-torn Bosnia in the 1990s - was released on Pelagic Records to critical acclaim. Live shows are accompanied by synchronized visuals, giving concerts a distinctly cinematic quality.
Arms and Sleepers announced a European tour for September/October 2026 and a debut mixtape LP titled 'Sentimentalisms', due July 2026.
Several new singles were released throughout 2025, including 'THIS WORLD IS A GLITCH', 'MERCURY IN RETROGRADE', 'IMOLA' and 'THIS PAIN'.
Arms and Sleepers joined Lusine and Yppah on the 'Earth to Moon' collaborative LP, released October 18, 2024 on Future Archive Recordings, followed by an 18-date North American tour.
The album 'What Tomorrow Brings' was released on March 1, 2024 via Pelagic Records, drawing on Ramic's personal experience of fleeing Bosnia in the 1990s and the death of his father in that conflict.
Arms and Sleepers completed a European tour with Hidden Orchestra and a separate North American live-band tour in 2024.
