About

Hollywood Vampires is an American hard rock supergroup formed in 2012 by Alice Cooper, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), and actor-musician Johnny Depp, with guitarist Tommy Henriksen rounding out the core lineup. The band was conceived as a tribute to rock legends who died from excess - a nod to the original Hollywood Vampires drinking club that Cooper ran at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in the 1970s. Their 2015 self-titled debut featured guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Slash, and Brian Johnson, while the 2019 follow-up Rise leaned more heavily on original material. A live album recorded at Rock in Rio 2015 - in front of 100,000 people - was released in 2023.
