Kurt Samuel Vile (born January 3, 1980, Lansdowne, Pennsylvania) is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who built his reputation on a woozy, psychedelic take on indie rock and folk. He co-founded The War on Drugs before going solo, and has since released ten studio albums - most recently 'Philadelphia's been good to me' (2026) - backed by his band The Violators.

Vile announced a 2026 world tour - dubbed 'KV's Been Good to Me Tour' - covering North America, Europe and the UK, with European dates running from late August through mid-September.

In 2025, Vile released the EP 'Classic Love', a collaborative project with Nashville songwriter Luke Roberts.
