Liturgy is an American avant-garde black metal band formed in New York in 2005 by Hunter Hunt-Hendrix. The band is known for its unconventional approach to black metal, blending the genre with post-rock, classical, and experimental influences. Their album Aesthethica (2011) brought them wider attention.
