POWERWOLF is a German power metal band from Saarbrücken, active since 2003, built around vocalist Attila Dorn, organist Falk Maria Schlegel, guitarists Matthew and Charles Greywolf, and drummer Roel van Helden. Their sound fuses thundering riffs, church organ, choral arrangements and lyrics steeped in religious and werewolf mythology - a formula that has earned them five #1 entries on the German album charts. With ten studio albums to their name, including the 2024 release Wake Up the Wicked, they rank among the most commercially successful heavy metal acts in Europe today.
The live album Wildlive (Live at Olympiahalle) debuted at #1 on the Official German Album Charts, becoming the band's fifth chart-topper in Germany.
The Wake Up the Wicked Tour 2026 kicked off in Copenhagen on February 19, with HammerFall and Wind Rose as support acts, and included the band's first-ever show at OVO Wembley Arena in London.
