Samy Deluxe (born Samy Sorge, 19 December 1977 in Hamburg) is a German rapper and record producer of German-Sudanese heritage, widely regarded as one of the founding figures of German-language hip-hop. He broke through with the group Dynamite Deluxe in the late 1990s before launching a solo career that has yielded over a million records sold and multiple chart-topping albums, including SchwarzWeiss (2011) and Hochkultur 2 (2023). He also runs his own label, Deluxe Records, and the youth initiative DeluxeKidz in Hamburg.
