Simple Minds is a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1977. They rose to international fame in the 1980s with a synth-driven sound and hits such as „Don't You (Forget About Me)" and „Alive and Kicking". The band is one of the defining acts of the post-punk and new wave era.
