Wolfgang Ambros - Ambros pur! Vol. VII
Wolfgang Ambros, a legend of Austrian music, presents the seventh edition of his "Ambros pur!" project in an intimate setting.
Wolfgang Ambros (born 19 March 1952 in Vienna) is an Austrian singer-songwriter widely regarded as one of the founding figures of Austropop. His 1971 debut single "Da Hofa" - sung in Viennese dialect rather than standard German - helped launch the genre, and anthems such as "Schifoan", "Es lebe der Zentralfriedhof" and "Zwickt's mi" have remained fixtures of Austrian popular culture for over fifty years. From 1997 to 2007 he was a member of the supergroup Austria 3 alongside Georg Danzer and Rainhard Fendrich, and he has released more than 27 studio albums across a career that continues to this day.
