An afternoon at Kloster Michaelstein in Blankenburg combining chamber music with a tour of the historic monastery complex. Two landmarks of the string quartet repertoire - Mozart's "Hunt Quartet" and Haydn's "Lark Quartet" - bring the sounds of nature to life as musical ideas.

After the concert, short guided walks take visitors through the monastery's museum areas, where music, architecture, nature and history come together.
