Die Goldenen Egerländer are a genuine treasure. Since their founding, these passionate musicians have filled concert halls across Germany. This success stems above all from the orchestra's exceptional quality and musical excellence. No wonder the professional musicians play or have played in Bundeswehr and police orchestras throughout Germany - for instance, in the Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr, the Bundespolizeiorchester Berlin, and the former Luftwaffenmusikkorps Berlin.

Since October 2022, Die Goldenen Egerländer have been led by Edi Sagert, a former musician with Ernst Mosch and former director of the Original Kapelle Egerland.

With lively, authentic and spirited energy, yet also with deep sensitivity, the orchestra crafts its stage performances - naturally in traditional Egerland costume.

Like the motto "Favourite melodies from Egerland", the musical programme emphasises the interpretation of the finest Egerland sounds, including works by ERNST MOSCH and his Original Egerländer Musikanten.
