Kulturhaus Gotha, Germany

Fans of Egerland and Bohemian brass music, listen up!
Few brass bands are as renowned as the Bohemian tradition. The unmistakable sound embodies Czech joie de vivre and Egerland heritage. Ambitious musical pieces revel in boundless vitality, yet also allow melancholy and longing for a lost homeland to resonate.
Die Goldenen Egerländer are a true gem. Since their founding, these passionate musicians have filled concert halls across Germany. This owes much to the orchestra's exceptional quality and musicianship. It comes as no surprise that professional musicians in the ensemble have played or continue to play in Bundeswehr and police orchestras nationwide - including the Bundeswehr Staff Music Corps, the Federal Police Orchestra Berlin, and the former Luftwaffe Music Corps Berlin.
Since October 2022, Die Goldenen Egerländer have been led by Edi Sagert, a former musician with Ernst Mosch and former director of the Original Kapelle Egerland.
The orchestra shapes its stage performances with brevity, authenticity, and temperament, yet also with deep feeling - all while dressed in traditional Egerland costumes.
Under the motto "Favorite Melodies from the Egerland," the musical programme emphasizes interpretations of the finest Egerland sounds, including works by Ernst Mosch and his Original Egerländer Musikanten. When "Rustling Birches" fills the hall, the audience sings along to "We Are Children of the Eger," or the gentle "Bohemian Wind" drifts through the concert room - every Egerland brass music enthusiast will find their moment.
Experience a unique concert highlight of the highest caliber - Egerland brass music at its finest!
