Sting's Songs in Polish. Kuba Kornacki with the band Użądleni

Kuba Kornacki and the band Użądleni perform Sting's songs in Polish - in Kornacki's translations and original arrangements personally approved by Sting himself. This is the only such project in Poland, the result of 10 years of translation work and several years of developing new arrangements.

Kornacki on the project: "Sting has been my teacher of imagination for as long as I can remember. But only when I heard The Last Ship did it open my eyes to his LYRICS. I realized I was dealing with the Jacques Brel of English-language song - a genius of words in a similar vein. When I began writing the translations, my intuition told me this could open Polish audiences to Sting's work on an entirely new level. My intuition did not fail me."

Kuba Kornacki - actor, author, and lecturer in acting. Creator of theatrical productions, songs, adaptations, radio plays, and musical adaptations. He writes, directs, performs on stage, and sings. He first encountered Sting in high school while listening to the album "Nothing Like The Sun".

Cezary Paciorek - accordionist, pianist, composer, arranger, and pedagogue at the Gdańsk Academy of Music. Pioneer of jazz accordion - from 1998 to 2011 he held first place in the "Various Instruments - Accordion" category in the Jazz Top poll of Jazz Forum magazine. He has collaborated with Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Urszula Dudziak, Michał Urbaniak, Leszek Możdżer, Maciej Sikala, Hanna Banaszak, Antonina Krzysztoń, Joszko Broda, and the Pospieszalski brothers. He has recorded over 60 albums, five of which received Fryderyk nominations, and one won the Fryderyk award in 2020. Recipient of the Pomeranian Artistic Award (2014), two-time recipient of the Mayor's Award.
