About

CJ Bolland (born Christian Jay Bolland, 18 June 1971, Stockton-on-Tees, England) is a British-Belgian electronic music producer, DJ and remixer who grew up in Antwerp after his family moved there when he was three. He was among the first artists signed to R&S Records, where early tracks like "Horsepower" (1991) and the album The 4th Sign (1992) helped define the Belgian techno sound. His 1996 album The Analogue Theatre yielded the US #1 club hit "Sugar Is Sweeter" and the UK top-20 trance anthem "The Prophet", and he remains active on the European club circuit to this day.
