Masterplan is a German power metal band from Hamburg, founded in 2001 by guitarist Roland Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch after both left Helloween. Their 2003 debut album - produced by Andy Sneap and featuring Norwegian vocalist Jørn Lande - broke into charts across Europe and earned the band the European Border Breakers Award from the European Commission in 2004. Over six studio albums they built a loyal international following, and in late 2024 they signed with Frontiers Music Srl to record their first album of new material since 2013.
