The gospel sensation "The BEST of Black Gospel" from the USA is coming to Germany again this year with their "PEACE ON EARTH Tour"!

The BEST of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the United States. Their programme offers the most beloved gospel songs in a two-hour show with full instrumental accompaniment. The repertoire includes well-known titles such as: "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", and "This Little Light Of Mine".

The choir's members come from the rich, diverse world of African-American gospel music. Every singer absorbed traditional gospel songs from childhood, singing at services in African-American churches, and later refined their talent at universities and music academies.

The singers have performed as soloists with choirs including the Harlem Gospel Singers, Golden Gospel Singers, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have worked with internationally acclaimed artists such as Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder - touring with them or contributing to their albums. Others have taken leading roles in musicals such as "Sister Act" or the gospel musical "Amazing Grace". Since 1999, the choir has embarked on a two-month European tour each year, becoming the most sought-after gospel choir in Germany and Europe.
