The BEST of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the USA. This exceptional ensemble's programme features the most beloved and beautiful gospel songs in a two-hour performance with instrumental accompaniment. Their repertoire includes such well-known titles as: "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", "This Little Light Of Mine".

The choir members come from the rich and diverse landscape of African-American gospel music. Each singer in The BEST of Black Gospel absorbed traditional gospel songs from childhood in "African-American churches" and made them their own. They later refined their natural musical talent at various universities and music academies.

The singers have worked worldwide as soloists with choirs such as the Harlem Gospel Singers, Golden Gospel Singers, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have collaborated with internationally successful artists like Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder, toured with them, or contributed to their albums. Other choir members, thanks to their exceptional talent, have taken leading roles in musicals such as "Sister Act" and the gospel musical "Amazing Grace". Since 1999, the choir has embarked on European tours for two months each year; since then, it has become the most sought-after gospel choir in Germany and Europe.
