The BEST of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the USA. This exceptional ensemble's programme features the most beloved and beautiful gospel songs in a two-hour show with instrumental accompaniment. Their repertoire includes timeless classics such as "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", and "This Little Light Of Mine".

The choir members come from the rich and diverse African-American gospel scene. Each singer has absorbed traditional gospel music from childhood through the services of "African-American churches". They later refined their musical talents at various universities and music academies.

The singers have performed worldwide as soloists with renowned choirs such as the Harlem, Golden, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have collaborated with internationally successful artists like Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder, touring and recording with them. Other members have taken leading roles in musicals such as "Sister Act" and the gospel musical "Amazing Grace". Since 1999, the choir has toured Europe for two months each year, becoming the most sought-after gospel choir in Germany and across Europe.
