The BEST of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the USA. Their programme showcases the most beloved and beautiful gospel songs in a two-hour performance with instrumental accompaniment. The choir's repertoire includes such classics as "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", and "This Little Light Of Mine".

The choir members come from the rich tapestry of the African-American gospel scene. Each singer has absorbed traditional gospel music from childhood in "African-American churches" and made it their own. They later refined their musical talent at various universities and music academies.

The singers have performed worldwide as soloists with renowned choirs such as the Harlem, Golden, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have collaborated with internationally successful artists such as Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder, touring with them and contributing to their albums. Other choir members have had starring roles in musicals such as "Sister Act" and the gospel musical "Amazing Grace". Since 1999, the choir has embarked on two-month European tours, becoming the most sought-after gospel choir in Germany and Europe.
