The BEST of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the United States. Their programme features the most beloved and beautiful gospel songs in a two-hour show with instrumental accompaniment. The choir's repertoire includes such classics as: "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", "This Little Light Of Mine".

The members of this choir come from the rich and diverse African-American gospel scene. Each singer of The BEST of Black Gospel has absorbed traditional gospel songs since childhood in "African-American churches" and internalized them deeply. They later refined their musical talent at various universities and music academies.

The singers have performed worldwide as soloists with choirs such as the Harlem Gospel Singers, Golden Gospel Singers, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have collaborated with internationally renowned artists like Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder, toured with them, or contributed to their albums. Other choir members have taken leading roles in musicals such as "Sister Act" or the gospel musical "Amazing Grace" thanks to their exceptional talent. Since 1999, the choir has embarked on European tours for 2 months each year; since then it has become the most sought-after gospel choir in Germany and Europe.
