The gospel sensation "The BEST of Black Gospel" from the USA comes to Germany with the "Peace on Earth Tour" this year as well!

The BEST of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the United States. The programme of these exceptional artists features the most well-known and beautiful gospel songs in a two-hour show with instrumental accompaniment. The choir's repertoire includes such classics as: "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", "This Little Light Of Mine".

The members of this choir come from the rich and diverse African-American gospel scene. Each singer in The BEST of Black Gospel has absorbed traditional gospel songs from childhood in the services of "African-American churches" and made them their own. They later refined their musical talents at various universities and music academies.

The singers have been known worldwide as soloists with choirs such as the Harlem, Golden, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have already collaborated with internationally successful artists like Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder, toured with them, or performed on their albums. Other choir members have taken leading roles in musicals such as "Sister Act" and the gospel musical "Amazing Grace" thanks to their exceptional talent. Since 1999, the choir has toured Europe for two months each year; since then it has become the most sought-after gospel choir in Germany and Europe.
