Theatre Liberi stages the famous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen as a modern musical adaptation. The professional musical ensemble tells the story of a lonely outsider girl and her desire for admiration and acceptance, but also of courage and unconditional friendship. This contrast is also reflected in the stage design, which blurs the boundaries between fantasy and reality. Musically, the audience is taken on a rapid journey through various genres with grand arrangements, complemented by impressive choreography and extraordinary lighting design.

An adventure in snow and ice
Gerda and Kay are best friends and inseparable since childhood. Both lead normal lives until one day a winter storm sweeps over their city. That evening, Gerda's mother tells them the story of a magical queen, the ruler of snow and ice, for the first time. Shortly after, Kay disappears without a trace, and Gerda sets out to find him. She lands in a mysterious world where everything seems possible. Suddenly Gerda finds herself in the middle of an adventure where she meets amusing characters, makes an eccentric acquaintance, and falls into the clutches of a strange gang. Fortunately, she is not alone and can rely on unexpected help. But time is running out, and Gerda must muster all her courage to rescue Kay from the icy realm of the Snow Queen…
