Preparing the perfect steak is a challenge fraught with uncertainty for many cooking enthusiasts. On June 23rd at 17:30, we invite you to The Kitchen for the second edition of our workshop, which will once and for all eliminate the stress of cooking meat.

For this exceptional event, we have invited a true legend of Gdańsk steaks – Jakub, who runs the famous and respected "Po Schodkach" butcher shop in Gdynia's Orłów district. Jakub will personally ensure the selection of the highest quality meat for this event. The workshop will be led jointly by Jakub and Krzysztof, Head Chef of The Kitchen.

During the meeting, you will focus on specific techniques and understanding the processes that occur in the pan. You will learn how to take full control of the product – from the moment of selecting the raw material to the final resting period of the meat before serving. The program includes the preparation of two steaks from the best available source and a surprising bonus on another meat-related topic.

What will you learn during the workshop?
Over 2–3 hours of intensive practice, you will go through the key stages of working with premium products:

Conscious selection: You will learn to recognize high-quality raw materials and select appropriate cuts for specific culinary techniques.

Technique without guessing: You will discover the golden rules of searing and roasting that guarantee consistency and the perfect, expected level of doneness.

The physics of flavor: You will understand exactly what determines the juiciness of meat and what mistakes make it dry.

The role of resting: You will learn why the "resting" process is just as important as the searing itself and how to do it correctly in a home kitchen.

The workshop is aimed at people who want to replace kitchen intuition with reliable knowledge and proven craft techniques.
