On July 2nd (Thursday) at 17:30, The Kitchen studio on the 2nd floor of Stacji Food Hall in Gdańsk becomes a workshop dedicated to Asian street food. Under the guidance of a professional chef, participants learn to prepare fluffy steamed bao buns - from mixing and kneading the dough, through shaping and cooking, to the final assembly with filling.
The workshops combine individual station work with group tasks. In the individual section, everyone goes through all stages: mixing and kneading dough, shaping buns, frying and breading chicken (or tofu in the vegan version), and composing sauces. Together, the group prepares accompaniments: quick pickled vegetables, chili crunch made with oil and Asian spices, and discusses fermentation and working with yeast dough.
At the end, each participant leaves with 4-6 homemade bao buns with their chosen filling, 2 types of sauces, and a complete set of accompaniments - and enjoys it all together at a shared table.
Price: from 200 PLN per person. The number of stations is limited.
