And Also The Trees are an English post-punk and gothic rock band formed in 1979 in the village of Inkberrow, Worcestershire, by brothers Simon Huw Jones (vocals) and Justin Jones (guitar). Their sound - built on mandolin-like guitar figures, dark jazz rhythms and poetic lyrics rooted in the rural English landscape - drew early attention from The Cure, who invited them to tour and produced their first recordings. Now in their fifth decade, the band has released 16 studio albums and retains a devoted following across continental Europe.
And Also The Trees performed as special guests of The Cure at Festival de Nîmes in July 2026.
The band released their 16th studio album 'The Devil's Door' on 27 February 2026 via their own AATT imprint, completing a trilogy with 'The Bone Carver' and 'Mother-of-Pearl Moon'.
'The Devil's Door' received strong critical notices, with AllMusic calling it "a late-career high point" that "feels like a self-contained nocturnal film."
The band toured Belgium, France and Greece in spring 2026 in support of the new album.
